Fundraising Rules

Leaders organising any Guiding event should look first to Guide Lines to ensure requirements including safety requirements, are fully met. When the purpose of the event is fundraising, State law also imposes some conditions.
|

Punishment prohibited
| You will notice that
the Act is very comprehensive. Of course most of the requirements
will be easily covered in the normal course of planning a Guiding
event. It is worth identifying the issues which need special
attention for discussion during your planning sessions prior to a
fundraising event. In the case of Clean Screen for Safety
the issue of soliciting and collecting from a person in a motor
vehicle may require special consideration in the planning process. |
