As a Junior Leader you help
younger Guides learn new skills, gain confidence and have fun. This can be at
Unit Meetings, outings, camps or special events.
Guides can become a Junior Leader by volunteering to help in a Unit of
younger Guides. Any girl can become a Junior Leader with Guides Australia. No
prior Guiding involvement is necessary, just a love of life and willingness to
try new experiences and become a Member of Guides. It's a great way to
give service while gaining leadership skills.
You will be developing Leadership skills with the supervision and guidance of
a qualified Leader through a commitment to a Unit of younger Guides.
Junior Leaders are Guide
Members. They make friends and have lots of fun while learning skills for life.
